WHAT THE "TREAT SLINGING" WEENIES ARE
SAYING ABOUT THE CHALLENGE
The trainers that are committed to ineffective,
inefficient and impractical methods will band together and raise a hue and cry.
They will attempt to create a climate of confusion and fear among the public.
They will attempt to paint the Training Challenge and it's author with the
broad brush of prejudice, bigotry and hate.
Here is a sample of some of the comments that they
have made:
- "The Challenge is unfair to the dogs."
- " The dogs will be beaten into submission."
- " The dogs will be unhappy."
- " The methods that the author of the Challenge uses
are cruel and inhuman."
- " It is beneath me to respond or/and participate in
the Training Challenge."
- " The shelter dogs can't learn anything in four
hours unless they are abused."
- " Training dogs this quickly is like holding a gun
to their heads!"
- " I am too busy training to answer this
Challenge."
- " It is beneath me to respond to this
challenge."
- " This Training Challenge is unfair to the
challenging trainers."
- " This Challenge would be emotionally difficult for
me, and I might cry."
- " Dogs don't need to be off leash, so this
challenge is stupid."
- " If I respond to this challenge, it won't prove
anything, I'm a good trainer anyway."
- " What ever methods the author of the Challenge
uses are cruel and inhumane, and I would cry to see the poor dogs forced to
obey a person against their will. "
And it goes on, and on, and on.... Remember the most
humane training is the training method that makes the most sense to the dog in
the shortest amount of time! Confusion and frustration are inhumane.
