The Alpha-tude Program
When we are called by a concerned pet parent, the
first thing that we do, is to determine which aspects of Attention, Alpha-tude, Activity and Affection are out of sync.
If these four component's are
not engaged in the home, the families relationship with the dog will suffer!
Then the people and the pet are out of balance. Essentially, our job is to
discover the one element or clue that the owner doesn't know is important, but
is actually the key, the clue that solves the problem. Then, we demonstrate to
the owner how to get on track.
One of the first things that we do with the owner with
a new puppy or adult shelter/rescue dog is to "stop the madness". We help the
owner install and implement our scientifically devised A. L. P. H. A. Attitude [Ami's Leadership Program
for Happy Canines] into the home environment. This is the first step in
creating a stable social position for the dog in his home.
The A.L.P.H.A-tudesm is simple
but incredibly effective. We have found a way to imbed the training and
behavior modification protocols in common, mundane, every day interactions with
the dog. This means that, you the owner, never, ever has to practice endless,
