When it comes to the amount of edamame you feed your dog, it’s best to think of it as a snack rather than a large part of a regular meal. As always, try to limit all human foods your dog consumes to less than ten percent of a meal.

When feeding your dog edamame, just make sure you always peel the edamame first. This is because the shells can be difficult to digest and can also become choking hazards for smaller dogs.

Also, never add additional toppings or condiments like soy sauce or salt to edamame you feed your dog.
