ONE County of Fort Bend The dog trainer is currently under investigation after a disturbing video surfaced on social media. the video revealed The dog trainer hits a dog on the ground during a training session.
The video was allegedly taken at the TyCalK9 dog training center in Arcola, but the facility has declined to make any comments on the situation. The facility boasts of their many celebrity clients on their website and gives the impression that they are a top-notch dog training company.
The video showed one of the coaches aggressively choosing a dog up on the leash and slam it on the ground. Then a low whimper is heard as the dog struggles to get to its feet.
The Fort Bend County Attorney’s Office released a statement “The District Attorney’s Office is actively investigating a report of animal cruelty related to a video posted on social media showing the alleged abuse of a dog in Fort Bend County. As the investigation is ongoing we are unable to share the details, but we take this matter seriously and do not condone animal abuse in any way. A thorough investigation by experienced animal cruelty investigators and prosecutors is underway.”
the Houston SPCA has also offered to help with the investigation to see if there are other instances of abuse. Since the investigation began, the dog training center has removed most of its online presence.
