The popularity of puppies does not seem to be diminishing as prices continue to rise as demand outpaces supply.

But with 221 different breeds of purebred dogs to choose from, there is a lot of thought to be had before choosing your perfect pooch – whether you want a large dog, family friendly dog, or a crossbreed.

Some pooches certainly need more grooming than others – from dogs that need regular professional grooming to dogs that need constant stimulation to be happy.
