The Puli is a Hungarian herding dog with a thick, laced coat that requires long grooming to prevent its fur from becoming matted. However, if you are willing to invest the time and effort, they make wonderful family pets.

Another easy-care Hungarian, the Komondor has a fur that looks like dreadlocks that need to be separated and cleaned regularly. They are a deeply loyal and protective breed.
