Trained dogs were put to the test at the Northern Championship Sheep Dog Trials held at the Exeter Showgrounds over the weekend. 25 trainers and 75 dogs took part in the two-day, four-level competition that culminated in the Open Division on Sunday afternoon, with Shannandoah Steele, trained by Lee Jamieson, being crowned first place Open Class Champion.
