Scented dog, the brand known for its wellness-based dog grooming and routine grooming services, is pleased to announce the opening of its first location in Colorado in mid-September. The new company, based at 7529 South University Blvd. will be owned and operated by local couple Jim and Christy Boswell.
A seasoned business administrator in the recruiting industry for over 20 years, Christy aims to set a new standard for routine dog sitting in the Centennial community and the surrounding area. Together with husband Jim, a man in the financial sector for over 20 years with 10 years of franchise experience, the couple are keen to capitalize on the recent national increase in pet ownership with their new business. This will be Boswell’s first “scenter†in the area, with plans to open at least two more locations in the southern subway suburbs in the near future.
“One of the main reasons we chose Scenthound as franchisees was to make a positive difference in our local community,” said Boswell. “That’s why we partnered with the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley to participate in Scenthound’s Clean Start program. Clean Start ensures that rescue dogs receive proper care while they await adoption. We believe that all rescue dogs in the community deserve the best chance to be taken into a loving family and we are proud to support our efforts through the Clean Start program to make this possible. “
The opening of the Centennial location marks a significant milestone for the Scenthound brand as it breaks new ground and continues its national expansion.
“Scenthound was originally founded to provide comprehensive grooming services for all breeds of dogs,” said Tim Vogel, CEO of Scenthound. “As we continue to expand nationally and enter new markets, we rely on the proactive efforts of local franchisees like Christy and Jim to continue our core mission.”
Scenthound currently has 110 locations open or under development in 12 states. For more information and to learn more about franchise opportunities, visit Here.
