Slippy goes into night mode with a single melodic and emotionally charged double-sided “Lone / Feel Alive” –

Following a killer combo of fascinating releases spread across all of 2020, the Night Mode team syncs up with Slippy for the first version taken from the fourth season of The Footprint.

For his first appearance on Night Mode, he slips through the catalog with a double-sided single showing his strength to change mood without ever skipping a beat. On the main track, “Lone”, it creates an anthem for the forgotten, enveloping an introspective vocal hook with deep reverberating bass, dark padlines, fast-paced drum programming, and swaying keys. It is a palpable piece of future bass that will make all the isolated souls in the world feel seen. The energy switches to the other side of the pendulum via the B-side, “Feel Alive,” which finds it roaming frantic energy of drums and liquid bass backed up by singer / songwriter Soundr’s flawless vocal delivery. Both cuts are incredibly raw and super relatable, so get ready to get blown straight away by your feelings.

“It’s a pleasure to release these songs with Night Mode – both of which are very close and dear to me. Through these songs, I hope listeners can find comfort in knowing that they are not the only ones who feel complicated and sometimes confrontational during these times. -Sliding

After bursting onto the bass scene in 2015, Alex Swartwout kicked off a constant stream of smooth productions from the genre that really made sense of his pseudonym Slippy. The Tampa-based artist has constantly slipped through the cracks and crevices between the realms of trap and dubstep, as he effortlessly combats the friction that comes with weaving between so many styles. His smooth hybrid creations are lubricated with menacing overtones and thrilling melodies, making his name a name that has slipped onto the lips of many heavyweights in the game, including NGHTMRE, Diplo, 12th Planet, Seven Lions, Adventure Club and many more. ‘others. He’s no stranger to the gaming community either, having previously featured on Rocket League and Beat Saber. Switching to night mode is a perfectly logical decision for all parties involved.
