Local fashion is back to the dogs in the best possible way. SPARKY, Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky, just announced plans for the return of Bark in Style, one of my personal favorite fundraisers of the year. It’s an event that combines some of the best fashions from our favorite Owensboro dealers with some of the most adorable rescues you will ever meet.
The Bark in Style 2022 takes place on Saturday, April 23rd at the Green River Distillery Co. in downtown Owensboro. I will moderate the event and personally invite you to participate. Bark in Style is an absolute blast. You will see some of your friends and neighbors strutting their belongings on the catwalk and a multitude of SPARKY dogs strutting (or being carried) right with them.
This year’s event is sponsored by Homes by Benny Clark and features an incredible dinner by Matt Weafer, owner and chef of Niko’s Bakery here in town, and a huge silent auction. There is also a new addition to the Bark in Style 2021. There will be a Canteen Service Company coffee bar.
Tickets to the event are on sale NOW and cost $ 50 per person. Each ticket includes entry to the Bark in Style Fashion Show, dinner, and a drink. You can CLICK HERE to get your tickets! There will also be silent and live auctions with some great items. And of course, all proceeds go to SPARKY.
