After three months of testimony from 32 witnesses, the fate of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes is now in the hands of the jury. Holmes is confronted in nine cases of transfer fraud and in two cases of conspiracy to commit transfer fraud. A jury of eight men and four women will begin the deliberations tomorrow.
In the case of former Brooklyn Center cop Kim Potter, the jury’s instructions and closing arguments are due to begin tomorrow. Potter faces manslaughter charges of manslaughter on Wright after shouting “Taser” repeatedly during a traffic stop in April.
Tuesday
NASA’s commercial cargo provider, SpaceX, plans to launch the next replenishment mission to the International Space Station. The Dragon spacecraft will deliver 6,500 pounds of cargo with scientific experiments and crew equipment.
