If you’ve been thinking about getting a dog, you are not alone – Kennel Club numbers show the number of people looking for puppies increased by about eight percent during the lockdown.
But with 221 different breeds of pedigree dogs to choose from, there is a lot of thought to be found before choosing the newest four-legged friend in your family.
Many dogs need a lot of exercise, several walks a day are an absolute must to stay healthy and happy.
But others like to stay at home, cuddling in front of the fire, so they are perfect for people who are less mobile or who don’t necessarily want to visit the park in rain or shine.
Here are 10 of the laziest dog breeds according to the American Kennel Club.
