A large number of us made the decision last year to welcome new cute dogs into our homes – Kennel Club numbers show dog ownership has increased nearly 8 percent – and demand for four-legged friends remains high after the lockdown.
There are a whopping 221 different breeds of pedigree dogs as well as numerous crossbreeds to choose from.
It should be noted whether a barking or howling dog can cause complaints from neighbors, especially if you live in an apartment.

A large dog in a small dog’s body, it’s not uncommon for a Chihuahua to bark fairly non-stop – often for no reason other than being bored.

Another dog bred to bark is the beagle, whose ability to convey an interesting smell has proven invaluable in a fox hunt. Beagles have two different types of barks – one to alert you to everyday incidents and a long, loud howl that is reserved for special occasions.

While it’s true that some corgis don’t bark, it’s a pretty common trait in both breeds – the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Their vocal nature comes from their history of breeding to herd cattle and sheep.
