A large number of us have decided to welcome new puppies to our homes in 2020 – the Kennel Club numbers show dog ownership has increased by almost eight percent – and demand for four-legged friends remains high after the lockdown.

The Tibetan Mastiff is both one of the oldest breeds in the world and one of the strongest and was used to protect homes in the Himalayan region. They are powerfully built and their bite can exert a remarkable 550 pounds of pressure.
